Kids Shoes

I also wanted to talk about shoes for kids. This week I've been hunting for some decent, reasonably priced infant shoes without luck. They were all around $25 - $30. Which isn't much for an adult, but these guys will only wear the shoes a few times before they outgrow them. Now I was a bit picky and only willing to purchase the soft sole shoes as I hear they are better than the other kind and you're not supposed to wear used shoes (who really knows about either, but I don't want to be blamed for my kids having bad feet so I have to get the best right?), but still, does that mean we have to pay twice as much as the other kinds? I finally broke down today and ordered some. Hopefully they'll come in next week and we can try them on for size. I'll keep you posted and let you know if they're worth it or not.

Fresh Air

We've all been getting a little stir crazy but thank goodness the weather has been great the past few days. After lunch I hauled the exersaucers outside and took the kids out. They loved it! They like the sun on their face, the fresh air and the change of scenery. We had a blast just hanging out. You'll notice in the pictures below that Jake's a little more adventurous and decided to crawl around the yard exploring. But he moved very slowly (like a snail), a little unsure about the grass beneath him. My sweet little Abby however, was a little more cautious, only getting off the blanket enough to see what was out there. She wasn't too sure about the grass.

Getting Started

Wow! My very own blog!!! I've come so far. :-)

A PAMOM member suggested this to all of us as a way to keep up with all those milestones the kids are reaching everyday since we sometimes forget to write them down. I thought it was a pretty cool way to keep track of stuff as well as keep family and friends up to speed on what we are doing. Albeit my life isn't that unusual. It's probably pretty boring compared to others. But it's my life and I'm pretty fond of it. So, to whoever is out there, here I go.
