Kids Shoes

I also wanted to talk about shoes for kids. This week I've been hunting for some decent, reasonably priced infant shoes without luck. They were all around $25 - $30. Which isn't much for an adult, but these guys will only wear the shoes a few times before they outgrow them. Now I was a bit picky and only willing to purchase the soft sole shoes as I hear they are better than the other kind and you're not supposed to wear used shoes (who really knows about either, but I don't want to be blamed for my kids having bad feet so I have to get the best right?), but still, does that mean we have to pay twice as much as the other kinds? I finally broke down today and ordered some. Hopefully they'll come in next week and we can try them on for size. I'll keep you posted and let you know if they're worth it or not.

Wendy-love your blog idea! I've thought the same things about kids shoes. Crazy to pay the $$ for fast growing feet (although my newly turned 1 year old is still only a size 2). The soft soled ones are fantastic for staying on as well. We wear our purple & pink pairs all the time! We found reasonably price ones at Target (MiniStar)-only about $11-12/pair. I've been happy with them and Audrey's gotten lots of compliments. She's been wearing them a while now and will still get a lot of use out of them. You should check 'em out!

Here's a tip - mention to a Grandma that the babies need shoes. :) I did and they both got two pair of Robeez for their birthday!
